ETTRICK, VA — The Lady Blue Bears continue to dominate at CIAA Round Up 2, hosted by Virginia State University, picking up two more victories on Saturday to extend their winning streak to four games and remain undefeated on the weekend.
The Lady Blue Bears opened Saturday's action against Lincoln University (PA), delivering a dominant performance and securing a straight-set 3-0 victory. Livingstone carried its momentum into the afternoon, showcasing consistency and determination to remain unbeaten in the weekend series.
Livingstone returned to the court to close out the day against Shaw University, once again controlling the matchup and earning another straight-set 3-0 win. With two victories on Saturday, the Blue Bears capped off the day with a perfect record and continued to build momentum at the CIAA Round Up.
After opening the weekend with wins over Virginia State University (3-2) and Virginia Union University (3-1) on Friday, Livingstone has now secured four consecutive victories, establishing itself as a team to watch as the event continues.
CIAA Round Up 2 will wrap up tomorrow, as Livingstone prepares for its final matches against Elizabeth City State University and Bowie State. The Blue Bears will look to carry their undefeated momentum into Sunday and close out the weekend on a high note.
