Salisbury, NC- Livingstone women's basketball picked up a strong 85–71 victory over Elizabeth City State on Monday evening at William Trent Gymnasium. The Lady Blue Bears used a dominant fourth quarter to pull away, outscoring ECSU 29–17 over the final 10 minutes to secure the win.

The game was tightly contested early, with five ties and seven lead changes through the first three quarters. Livingstone held a slim 56–54 advantage heading into the fourth before turning up the defensive pressure and attacking the glass to create separation.

Nielle Reaves led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down five three-pointers while also pulling down 10 rebounds for a double-double. Ny'Asia Green added 17 points and four steals, while Breasia Coit was dominant inside, finishing with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks. Off the bench, Jasiyah Crawford contributed 16 points and consistently got to the free-throw line.
Livingstone controlled the rebounding battle 55–37 and capitalized on turnovers, scoring 38 points off ECSU miscues. The Lady Blue Bears also scored 27 second-chance points, highlighting their effort on the offensive glass.

Elizabeth City State was led by Karina Scott and LaNiya Scales, who each scored 14 points, but Livingstone's depth and late-game execution proved to be the difference.

Livingstone will kick off their road series as they travel to Augusta University in Augusta, GA on Friday, Jan. 16, with tipoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
