Salisbury, NC — Livingstone College is proud to highlight Head Football Coach Sean Gilbert, who was featured earlier this year in a special article by the Los Angeles Rams as part of their "Where Are They Now" series.

The article revisits Gilbert's impressive career as a defensive lineman in the NFL, where he played for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins, and Carolina Panthers. A first round draft pick for the Los Angeles Rams and 1993 Pro Bowl selection, Gilbert was known for his strength, leadership, and impact on the field. He was selected third overall in the 1992 NFL Draft after earning All-Big East honors in 1990 and All-American recognition in 1991 during his collegiate career at the University of Pittsburgh.

Since retiring from professional football, Gilbert has dedicated himself to coaching and mentoring young athletes. As head coach of the Livingstone Blue Bears, he brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence that continues to elevate the program.
