Blue Blears Places Third at the Greensboro XC Invitational

Salisbury, NC- The Livingstone College men's cross country team secured a third-place finish at the Greensboro XC Invitational, competing against High Point University Club and Winston-Salem State University.

Brandon Jeffers led the Blue Bears with a standout performance, placing 3rd overall with a time of 17:11.4, averaging a 5:31 mile pace. His effort not only placed him ahead of several runners from both competing schools but also made him the first NCAA Division II athlete to cross the finish line.

Mohamed Faro followed with a solid run, finishing 9th overall in 18:50.0. Darrell White placed 21st with a time of 22:45.9, while Lamarion Linton and Justin Hutchinson finished 23rd and 24th, clocking in at 29:19.2 and 29:57.2. 

Livingstone posted a team total time of 1:58:03, with an average of 23:36 per runner.

The Blue Bears return to action on October 3rd at the Cedric Walker HBCU XC Challenge.
