Women’s Cross Country Places 5th at Blue Bear XC Invitational

Salisbury, NC – The Livingstone College Women's Cross Country team placed 5th out of 6 teams at their home meet, the Blue Bear XC Invitational, showcasing grit and determination on a demanding course.

Top Performers for Livingstone:
  • Thomyka Valcent led the Blue Bears with a strong 9th-place finish, clocking 20:53.00.
  • Khy Burdon followed in 18th place with a time of 24:25.46.
  • Keneah Romney placed 29th in 29:39.57.
  • A'maya Williams finished 33rd in 33:06.53.
  • Madison Campbell rounded out the squad in 36th place, finishing in 47:45.09.
Despite the fifth-place team finish, the Blue Bears showed promise and resilience, especially with Valcent's top-10 performance. The meet served as a valuable learning experience as the team continues to build momentum for the season ahead.
