Livingstone Men’s Golf Finishes 5th at NCAA DII Atlantic/East Regional

Fairview, PA – The Livingstone College Men's Golf team delivered a strong performance at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional, held at Whispering Woods Golf Club. Out of 20 competing teams, the Blue Bears secured an impressive 5th-place finish.

Head Coach Andre Springs expressed his pride in the team's effort:
"I'm really excited — this is our fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. You can see the experience showing from having been here year after year. Our seniors are doing a great job showing leadership. On the first day, we were in fifth place, and that showed me we have grit, toughness, and a lot of class."

Individual Results:
  • Christopher Baguma finished in a three-way tie for 11th place with rounds of 76-75-73—224.
  • Ibrahim Aliga tied for 14th in a four-way finish, carding 76-76-73—225.
  • Michael Alunga and Joshua Luke Cochran tied for 49th place, shooting 83-80-72—235 and 78-77-80—235 respectively.
  • Denis Asaba finished 53rd with scores of 73-82-81—236.
