Salisbury, N.C.- This past weekend, the Blue Bears hosted their annual Livingstone Blue Bear Invitational on March 29th. The Livingstone men's track & field team finished in first place out of 14 teams, with Tusculum securing second place. The Blue Bears also excelled across 19 categories, placing in the top 15 in each event.
In the men's 3000,
Truth Mattison claimed first place with a time of 9:47.15. During the men's 4x400 meter relay,
Deven Lewis,
Jaquan Fallin,
Hunter Howard, and
Trevor Hyman secured first place with a time of 3:16.99. In the long jump, Jamir McCrae finished in first place with a leap of 7.09 meters.
The Blue Bears will be back in action this weekend, April 5th, at Johnson C. Smith for the Golden Bulls Invitational.
