February 24, 2025 – Livingstone College is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its basketball program, with two of its members receiving prestigious awards for the 2024-25 season during the CIAA Athletic banquet.
All-Conference Frontcourt Awardee: Morgan Kelson
Senior Kelson had a standout 2024-25 season, averaging 14.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, demonstrating her versatility. Among her notable performances were a 28-point, 16-rebound effort against Lincoln (PA) on December 21st and a 23-point performance against Claflin on February 5th.
All-Rookie: Breasia Coit
Breasia Coit had an impressive freshman year during the 2024-25 season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. One of her standout performances came on January 28th, when she scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds against Fayetteville State.
