Salisbury, N.C.- The Livingstone College Esports program had a remarkable fall 2024 season in the HBCU Esports League, showcasing skill, determination, and Blue Bear pride. Competing in Rocket League and College Football 25 and making history in the 2024 Esports Commemorative Classic, our teams have proven their ability to compete at the highest level.

Season Highlights:
  • Rocket League (2v2s): Anthony Sims and Trey Kyles represented Livingstone College with incredible teamwork and strategy, advancing to the playoffs and finishing 4th in the league. Their hard work and dedication throughout the season laid the groundwork for future success.
  • College Football 25: Darious McKenzie had a standout season, advancing to the championship game. In a nail-biting final, Darious narrowly missed the title with a 1-point loss, but his performance earned him an impressive $750 prize and cemented his status as one of the league's top competitors.
  • 2024 Esports Commemorative Classic: Livingstone College made history with an unforgettable victory against Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) in the first-ever live college football esports event between the two HBCUs.
