Salisbury, NC-  The Lady Blue Bears captured their first victory of the season in commanding style, defeating Carolina University 77–41 inside New Trent Gym. The Lady Blue Bears set the tone early, jumping out to an 18–7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, extending their advantage to 42–22 by halftime.

Livingstone's balanced attack featured standout performances from Jasiyah Crawford and Ny'Asia Green, who each scored 18 points. Crawford added 10 rebounds and an impressive 8 steals. Boston Bates chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds, and Breasia Coit dominated the paint with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The Blue Bears controlled nearly every statistical category, shooting 39% from the field and knocking down 7 three-pointers. Their defense was relentless, forcing 23 turnovers and converting them into 25 points, while also winning the battle on the glass with 47 rebounds.

Carolina University struggled offensively, shooting just 19.2% from the floor. Ja'Nisha Caldwell led the Bruins with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
