Bristol, TN. – The Lady Blue Bears fell on the road Thursday evening, dropping an 83–63 decision to King University at the Student Center Complex.
Livingstone stayed competitive early, trailing just 20–15 after the first quarter, but King used a strong second period to create separation. The Tornado outscored the Blue Bears 27–14 in the second quarter to take a 47–29 advantage into halftime.
The Blue Bears showed resilience coming out of the break, putting together their best offensive quarter in the third. Livingstone scored 22 points in the period, led by improved shooting and strong rebounding, but King continued to answer, maintaining its lead at 68–51 heading into the final quarter. King closed the game by holding Livingstone to 12 points in the fourth to secure the win.
Nielle Reaves led Livingstone with a team-high 15 points off the bench, knocking down three three-pointers.
Breasia Coit posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, adding a strong presence inside.

Jasiyah Crawford each contributed nine points, while Livingstone finished with 41 rebounds and 23 bench points.
King was led by Mary Elizabeth Fox, who scored a game-high 20 points on 8-of-9 shooting. The Tornado shot 53.2 percent from the field and received 40 points from their bench.
Livingstone looks to bounce back on Saturday, Dec 20, as they host Barton College at 2pm.
