Livingstone Falls Short Against Glenville State in Road Series

Glenville, WV- Men's basketball wrapped up its two-game road series with a 74–59 loss against Glenville State University on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Bears battled throughout but couldn't overcome a strong second-half surge from the Pioneers.

Livingstone kept the contest competitive early, trailing by single digits at halftime. However, Glenville State capitalized on efficient shooting and rebounding in the second half to pull away. Blue Bears Leaders:
  • James Nipper paced Livingstone with a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He also went 6-of-7 from the free-throw line.
  • Jemez Herd Jr. added 10 points and 3 rebounds, shooting 3-of-5 from the floor and a perfect 4-of-4 at the stripe. Herd also added 1 block, and 1 steal.
Glenville State Leaders:
  • Elijah Redfern led the Pioneers with 17 points, hitting 5-of-10 from the field and 5-of-5 at the line, while adding 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
  • Prince Mosengo matched him with 17 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting, pulling down 8 rebounds and contributing defensively with 2 steals.
