CHARLOTTE, NC (October 27, 2025) – Week Eight of CIAA football delivered plenty of excitement, as some of the conference's most efficient offenses were on full display. The performances helped set the stage for an exciting final two weeks of the season.
Among the standout defensive efforts, Livingstone College linebacker Jayden Reeder earned CIAA Linebacker of the Week honors after a commanding performance that anchored the Blue Bears' defense. Reeder showcased his athleticism and leadership, racking up tackles and making key stops that helped Livingstone secure a hard-fought victory.
His impact was felt across the field, as he consistently disrupted the opposing offense and set the tone for a resilient defensive unit. Reeder's recognition highlights the growing strength of Livingstone's defense as the team prepares for a pivotal Homecoming matchup against Shaw University.

Reeder was a force all over the field for Livingstone, tallying 11 total tackles (2 solo, 9 assisted), 1.5 sacks, and two tackles for loss. He capped off his standout performance by returning a fumble recovery for a touchdown, adding a defensive score to his stat sheet. Reeder's relentless pursuit and knack for making impact plays set the tone for the Blue Bears' defense.
