Young Harris, G.A.- The Lady Blue Bears suffered a tough 74-82 loss to Young Harris in their latest contest, despite a strong performance from several key players. 

Samiyah Briggs led the charge for the Lady Blue Bears, scoring a game-high 23 points. She was efficient from the field, going 8-of-15 and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Briggs also contributed 3 rebounds, 1 assists, and a steal. Morgan Kelson followed with 16 points, shooting 5-of-10 overall and 3-of-5 from three. She added 6 rebounds and 3 assists, helping keep the team competitive throughout the game.

Ny'Asia Green also contributed double digits, scoring 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting and grabbing 1 rebounds in 22 minutes of play. Boston Bates added 6 points, while Nielle Reaves finished with 5 points and 1 assist. Jasiyah Crawford chipped in 7 points, including 2 three-pointers.

Looking ahead, the Lady Blue Bears will have a chance to regroup as they head to Elizabeth City State on January 6, game time set for 5:30 PM.
