Miami Shores, F.L.- The Livingstone College women's basketball team traveled to Florida for the prestigious Dan Olson Alumni Shootout this past weekend. Their journey began on Friday evening with a tough matchup against Lynn University. The Lady Blue Bears came up short, falling 87-74 to the Fighting Knights.

Morgan Kelson led the way for Livingstone, putting up an impressive 19 points and also contributed 14 rebounds. Boston Bates added 18 points of her own, also adding five rebounds. Thalia Carter chipped in with 12 points and 2 assists. Breasia Coit contributed 4 points and 4 rebounds, while Bria Griffith scored 12 points off the bench in 26 minutes of action.

Next up for Livingstone is Barry University on Saturday, Nov 30, at 2 p.m.
