Charlotte, N.C.- Livingstone College men's basketball team delivered a commanding 130-65 victory over Virginia University of Lynchburg, extending their dominant start to the season.
Jamal Cannady Jr. lead his team with 24 points on an efficient 8-14 shooting, including a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line. He also added 6 assists and 3 rebounds.
Ta'jae Jenkins chipped in with 15 points, making 6 of 7 shots from the field and added 4 steals.
Paul Tako had a solid outing, scoring 13 points on 3-5 shooting from the field and a pair of three-pointers, while
James Nipper added 11 points and 4 rebounds.
King Ijeoma contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Off the bench, the Blue Bears' depth was evident as
Chance Jamison finished with 11 points,
Donovan Leak added 9 points, and
Andrae Shaw Jr. scored 7 points in limited minutes.
Livingstone will be back in action on Tuesday, Dec 3, as they will travel to Aiken, SC to play against USC Aiken at 7:30 p.m.
