Salisbury, N.C.- The Livingstone College men's basketball team extended their winning streak in impressive fashion, overwhelming Carolina Christian with a decisive 111-71 victory.
Jamal Cannady Jr. led the charge, scoring a game-high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including two three-pointers, while also going a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line.
Ta'jae Jenkins added 14 points with efficient shooting, hitting 6-of-9 from the field, and
James Nipper chipped in 13 points.
Livingstone dominated the boards, with
King Ijeoma leading the team in rebounds, securing nine total (five offensive).
The Blue Bears' depth was on full display, with contributions from players throughout the roster.
Trey Minard added 11 points, and several others, including
Jemez Herd Jr. and
Chance Jamison, scored six points each, showcasing the team's balance and ability to execute across the bench.
The Blue Bears will hit the road to Columbia, SC, on Wednesday, November 20, to face Allen University at 6 PM.
