FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina – Livingstone College women's bowling team continued their season at the CIAA Round-Up. The three-day event (Feb. 17-19) was highlighted by Carrington Hayward's third-place finish overall. 

Livingstone placed sixth overall after going 2-4 in the three days.

Friday (Feb. 17), The Blue Bears (2-4) tied with Virginia State University (0-0) (565-565) and defeated Virginia Union University (1-11) (586-480). 

Livingstone finished Saturday with a win over Virginia Union University (619-511) and losses to Bowie State University (891-673), and Elizabeth City State University (702-588). 

On Day Three of the CIAA Round-Up (Feb. 19), The Blue Bears went 1-2 in the day. Livingstone defeated Elizabeth City State (662-656). The Blue Bears fell to Bowie State (444-1012). The Panthers defeated the Blue Bears (563-526).

The Blue Bears had a total pin score of 4883. Fayetteville State took first overall with a total pin score of 7650.

The Blue Bears will be back on Friday, March 10 for the CIAA Event III. The first bowl is set for 10:00 a.m.
