SALISBURY - Livingstone College Athletics has named Jermaine L. Barnes and Terry N. Barnes II as video production coordinators.
Jermaine has his own company Forever MemoriesFV LLC, which specializes in photography and video production for small businesses and sporting events.
Jermaine started his career in sales and retail management, working for major companies including; Bed Bath and Beyond and Tractor Supply Co.
Jermaine also worked with NDO FiLMz Productions as a camera operator and co-producer for over tens years, where he gained his knowledge in photography and video productions.
Jermaine has co-producer credits on the sports docu-series' Bear Country The Series and BC2 - Bear Country 10 Years Later (currently in production). He took his experiences from working with NDO FiLMz Productions, along with his 15+ years of retail and sales management.
Mr. Barnes was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina where he graduated from New Bern High School in 1992. Mr. Barnes attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he majored in Criminal Justice.
Terry works with Forever Memories FV as lead editor and co-producer.
Terry served honorably for eight years in the United States Air Force, servicing F-16 fighter jets and later human resources management.
After completing his commitment to service, Terry followed his passion to become a writer and film producer. He earned an AAS in digital filmmaking and a B.Ss in Film Production from Full Sail University, formed his company NDO FiLMz Productions, and moved to Atlanta Ga.
In Atlanta, Terry worked on major studio productions such as Ozark on Netflix and Righteous Gemstones on HBO. In the past ten years, Terry has written and directed seven short films, ten music videos, and two feature films, including Bear Country The Series, BC2 - Bear Country 10 Years later (currently in production) a sports docu-series on high school football and FLESH a suspense-horror series (currently in production).
He also worked as the Lead Video Technician and Lighting Technician for two major rental houses in Atlanta that service major film productions, business conferences, festivals, and all other live events across the country.
Terry N. Barnes II was born in Washington, DC, and raised in New Bern, North Carolina where he graduated from New Bern High School in 1993.
In introducing both Jermaine and Terry, Director of Athletics Lamonte Massie-Sampson said, "Livingstone College is excited to be fully staffed in the production area. The Barnes' brothers, along with Blue Bear Sports Network, and our new software will bring a College GameDay experience to Livingstone College."
