SALISBURY — Quandarius Smith ran for a three-yard touchdown in overtime to win 26-20 over the Golden Bulls Saturday afternoon.
Livingstone College Football captured their final home win of the season, defeating Johnson C. Smith University Saturday afternoon at Alumni Memorial Stadium, 26-20.
The Blue Bears finish their season 4-6.
The Blue Bears got on the board first when Silas Cruse found Matthew Henry for a 12-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
The Blue Bear defense locked down the Johnson C. Smith offense in Saturday's game, keeping the Golden Bulls scoreless in the first quarter. The Golden Bulls took the lead right before the half when Quarterback Brevin Caldwell connected with Robert Adams for a 34-yard touchdown, 7-6. The Blue Bears came out of halftime and took back the lead with a four-yard touchdown pass from Silas Cruse to Matthew Henry.
The Golden Bulls scored the last touchdown in regulation to send the game into overtime, 20-20.

Terrance McPherson Jr. led the Blue Bear defense with 14 tackles. McPherson had one solo and 13 assisted tackles.

Silas Cruse accounted for 244 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Matthew Henry, the 130th Commemorative Classic Livingstone College most valuable player, led the Blue Bears in receiving with ten catches for 108 yards. Tecorey Tutson led in rushing with 110 yards.
