SALISBURY — Siles Cruse connected with Lasirton Bryant for a 13-yard pass in the second quarter, scoring the first touchdown in the game, 21-7.

The Broncos defeated the Blue Bears Saturday afternoon at Alumni Memorial Stadium, 44-7. 

The Blue Bears drop to 2-5 and will travel to Shaw University Saturday, October 22 for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff at George Williams Athletic Complex on the CIAA Sports Network.

The Blue Bear defense shifted the momentum early in the third quarter when Will Tims caused a fumble and Zavion Llyod recovered the ball. in Saturday's game. 

Will Tims and Zavion Lloyd led the Blue Bear defense with seven tackles. Followed by Collin Guillory and Christian Bostic with five tackles in Saturday afternoon's game.

Silas Cruse accounted for 120 yards of total offense (112 passing, eight rushing).

Matthew Henry led the Blue Bears in receiving with four catches for 37 yards. Tecorey Tutson led in rushing with 44 yards.
