When we are consistent with the first pass, we get the first ball kill. We have to be able to execute in that area in order to be able to challenge good playing teams like Fayetteville State", said Coach E.
Wilson-Thomas also led the team in service aces kicking out three in the second set and two in the third set.
"We talked about serving in zone five and serving in the seam; looking at good teams and recognizing the weaker side since most player are right-handed was a great execute from Dekiya today" said Coach E. "She's been setting goals every single match, we put the footage out there for the team to understand what each individual's contribution needs to be and Dekiya committed to being consistent on her goal of reaching 20 plus assists and now we will go back and review to set a new goal"
