Daisa Harris (21 points, 8 rebounds) and Darra Walker (12 points, 3 rebounds) led the Lady Blue Bears to victory over the Lady
Bears of Shaw University 66-58 in a CIAA Southern Division matchup at C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium.

The Lady Blue Bears capitalized on timely mistakes by the Lady Bears, including 25 points of turnovers.

Livingstone held a lead as large as 16 points, thanks in part to a 6-0 run to end the first quarter. The Lady Blue Bears
would lead by 10 (36-26) at the half.

Shaw rebounding would spark an 8-0 rally 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter to get within 5 points before Livingstone finished the
contest with a 15-2 run.

Livingstone improves to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in the CIAA. Shaw falls to 6-10 overall and 2-6 in the CIAA.

The Lady Blue Bears next host the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls Saturday, January 18th. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
