LC Travels To Allen on Saturday

SALISBURY – The Livingstone College football team will hit the road for the second of three consecutive road games, traveling to face Allen University, in a nonconference game with the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, Sept. 8. Kickoff from W.C. Hawkins Stadium in Irmo, South Carolina is slated for 3:00 p.m.
The Blue Bears (0-1) enter the game after a hard-fought 52-23 road loss to Pikeville in their season opener. Against Pikeville, LC freshman quarterback Miles Hayes tossed for 266 yards on a 20 of 39 performance. He connected for two touchdowns threw two interceptions.
Allen, a first-year program, defeated a club team (Columbus State) last week, 47-3. This week's game will be Allen's first official contest.
