LC MBB Opens 2017-18 Season
SALISBURY, N.C., - Livingstone College men's basketball team will hit the road for their 2017-18 opener, traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina to take part in the two day JCSU Tip-Off Basketball Challenge hosted by Johnson C. Smith University.
The Blue Bears will tip off action at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 against No. 2 ranked Queens University. LC will take on Benedict College on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Last year's squad posted an 11-17 overall record, 7-9 CIAA finish and 6-4 divisional mark, were picked eighth in the preseason.
The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team, currently ranked second in the nation, coasted to an 87-67 win over Clayton State University on Wednesday night. The Royals move to 3-0 on the year.
