SALISBURY, NC – The Livingstone College women's volleyball team will host Shaw University at New Trent Gymnasium on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. for a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference (CIAA) Southern Division match.

Livingstone (7-10 overall, 4-7 CIAA) is coming off a 3-0 loss to Winston-Salem State on Thursday. The Lady Blue Bears average 8.58 kills per set for a .112 hitting percentage. As a unit, LC averages 7.12 assists per set, 12.27 digs per outing and 2.17 service aces. The Lady Blue Bears rank fifth in the division with a 1-4 overall record.

The Lady Bears head into Tuesday's action after beating Saint Augustine's, 3-0 on Thursday. The victory extended Shaw's win-streak to 13-straight as the Lady Bears post a 10-0 record in the CIAA. Shaw will look to earn its fifth consecutive win in the division at Livingstone.
