Blue Bears start CIAA Play

SALISBURY, N. C., - After an extended holiday break, Livingstone College Men's and Women's basketball teams will return to the hardwood to begin CIAA play.

The Blue Bears will host Lincoln University on Saturday, January 2, in Salisbury, North Carolina in New Trent Gymnasium. The women's will tip-off at 2:00 p.m., the men will follow.

This will be the men's first home game of the season. The Blue Bears were on an 11 game road trip winning five out of six while on the road.

The two time defending CIAA Champions returns All-CIAA preseason picks guards, Eric Dubose and Ty Newman.

They Lady Blue Bears return to the hard wood after falling to Paine College 71-67, on December 30. The Lady Blue Bears only had three home games, but is happy to return home. Amber Curtis leads LC with 20 points per game.
