The Livingstone College volleyball team dominated the Virginia University of Lynchburg Dragons in New Trent Gymnasium, sweeping them 3-0 (25-8, 25-7, 25-7). The Blue Bears improve their record to 6-3 overall.

The Blue Bears conquered the Dragons the entire match by holding them under 10 points each set. Livingstone also held a consistent serve and tallied 23 service aces over VUL. Rukiya Garland and Deyanna Reed recorded seven service aces respectively.

The Blue Bears, led by Carrie Blunt's 10 kills, was a force at the net. Livingstone recorded 29 kills.

Overall the Blue Bears played an almost error free match, tallying only five errors compared to the Dragons' 62 errors.
Livingstone will return to action on September 19 as they host the Shaw University Bears. Game time is slated for 6:00 p.m.
