The Livingstone College volleyball team suffered a 3-1 (25-12, 26-24, 19-25, 25-16) in Salisbury, NC on Monday night.
Carrie Blunt led the Blue Bears with a match high 16 kills on 26 total attacks. Blunt also recorded three blocks and one service ace. Brandi Rhone and Shedella Smith followed Blunt's performance with six kills respectively.

LaPria Saunders contributed 26 set-assists and one block for the Blue Bears.

The Broncos breezed past the Blue Bears in the first set. Unfazed by the Broncos, the Blue Bears played with determination to defeat the defending CIAA champions.

The loss drops the Blue Bears to 15-12 overall and 5-9 in the conference.

The Blue Bears will return to action on October 24, as they take on the number one Winston-Salem State University. The match is slated 6:00 p.m.
