The Livingstone College volleyball team defeated Bluefield State in three straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-0, 25-13). LaPria Saunders recorded a season high 74 set-assists for the Blue Bears.

The Blue Bears improve 15-11 on the season. Livingstone played very consistent against Bluefield and only recorded 12 errors the entire match. Carrie Blunt and Lareecia Swiney contributed 10 kills apiece. Blunt also played aggressive at the net and tallied six blocks.

Livingstone will return to action when they host Fayetteville State University on October 22. The match is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m.
