The Livingstone College volleyball team closed out their 2012 season in the semi-finals of the CIAA volleyball championship to the undefeated Fayetteville State University. The Broncos swept the Blue Bears in three straight sets 25-14, 25-18, 25-22.

Senior Phylicia Egbuna had a team high nine kills and three blocks. Lareecia Swiney recorded six kills and two blocks against the Broncos.

Livingstone concluded their season 26-8 overall and 10-6 in the CIAA southern division.

Fayetteville State is set to play Chowan for rights to being called the 2012 CIAA Champions.
