The Livingstone College volleyball team defeated Johnson C. Smith in three straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-16) on Monday.

The Golden Bulls gave the Blue Bears stiff competition by going point-for-point early in the second set.  However Livingstone remained focus and outlasted their opponent. Freshman Ebony Moore played very strong for the Blue Bears and tallied 10 kills and two blocks in the win.

Senior Phylicia Egbuna continued her consistent season and recorded 18 kills for Livingstone.

Setter LaPria Saunders tallied a game-high 31 assists, two service aces and four kills over JCSU.

The Lady Blue Bears improve their overall record to 19-5 this season.

Livingstone will face Saint Augustine's University, Thursday, October 25. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
