Tatiana Stands is embarking on her first season at Livingstone College, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role as Assistant Athletic Director of Communications at Morehouse College. During her time at Morehouse, she managed communications for all eight varsity sports, maintained the college’s athletic website, handled stats, coordinating game setups, and oversaw game day operations.
Tatiana's journey in collegiate sports began at Johnson & Wales University, where she earned a degree in Sports Entertainment and Event Management with a minor in Sports Management. Her time at Johnson & Wales was marked by her progressive roles, starting as a work-study student in game operations. She then became a student assistant, assisting the Athletic Director and later working under the Sports Information Director. Her responsibilities included managing stats for all varsity athletics, coordinating game setups, overseeing the scorer’s table, and conducting interviews.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Tatiana's involvement in sports dates back to her middle/high school years, where she played volleyball and managed the basketball team. Her deep-seated love for sports has fueled her career ambitions, with her ultimate dream being to make a significant impact in the NBA or become an Athletic Director.
Originally from Pine Ridge, SD, Tatiana now resides in Charlotte, NC, where she continues to pursue her dreams and contribute to the world of collegiate athletics.
