Kiana Robinson

Kiana Robinson enters her first season as an Assistant Coach at Livingstone College.

Coach Robinson is a former elite basketball player, educator, and mentor with a distinguished background in championship-level competition and player development. A nationally ranked recruit from Laurinburg Institute, she helped lead her team to a Women’s High School National Championship while scoring over 1,500 career points. She was recognized as the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2003, an ESPN Top 25 national recruit, WBCA Parade All-American, Adidas All-American, Nike All-American, and McDonald’s All-American Finalist. Her jersey was later retired and recognized by the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

Internationally, Coach Robinson represented USA Basketball, earning a Gold Medal with the USA 15U Team and a Silver Medal with the USA 16U Team.

At the collegiate level, Coach Robinson was a member of the University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball program during its 2003–04 NCAA National Championship season before continuing her career at Cumberland University. There, she helped lead the NAIA National Runner-Up finishes program while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.

Drawing from her experiences in championship cultures, Coach Robinson is passionate about developing well-rounded student-athletes through skill development, leadership training, and mentorship. Her approach emphasizes accountability, discipline, character, and academic excellence, preparing young people for success both on and off the court.
