Ms. Price serves as the Assistant to the Athletic Director at Livingstone College bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. She holds three advanced degrees: a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Administration from Morgan State University, a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Wingate University, and a third Masters degree with a certification in Digital & Sports Marketing  from UNC Chapel Hill.
A former Division 1 athlete, Ms. Price distinguished herself as a tennis player at Morgan State University, becoming the second-winningest player in the program's history and achieving a remarkable national ranking of 10. Kayla Symone Price kick- starting her career with the Baltimore Ravens, as well has being a top 8 coach in CMS School District & later transitioning to becoming a facility’s-director over various country clubs, and furthermore becoming a licensed educator and to open doors of her being the 4th black female assistant athletic director in high schools across the CMS school district. Ms. Price athletic accomplishments exemplify her commitment, discipline, and competitive spirit, which she now channels into her professional endeavors.
In her position, Ms. Price is responsible for overseeing the business operations within the athletic department, ensuring financial efficiency and operational effectiveness. She manages various administrative functions, including budgeting, contracts, resource allocation, and day to day operations within NCAA regulations. Her keen analytical skills and attention to detail enable her to streamline processes and maximize the department’s resources, ultimately supporting the growth and success of all athletic programs.
Ms. Price prides herself on being multitalented and actively promotes a culture of hope and integrity within the department. She is dedicated to mentoring student-athletes and fostering an environment where they can excel both academically and athletically. Her passion for sports and her commitment to the development of future leaders in athletics make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Additionally, Ms. Price engages in various outreach initiatives, leveraging her background in digital & sports management to implement innovative strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of the athletic programs at Livingstone College. Through her leadership and dedication, she continues to inspire others and contributes to creating a positive impact within the Livingstone College athletic community.
