Dr. Troy Russell is a dedicated member of the faculty at Livingstone College and serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR). With a background in Education. Dr. Russell is committed to promoting academic integrity, student-athlete welfare, and the values of fair play within the athletic department.
In his role as “FAR”, Dr. Russel acts as a liaison between the student athletes coaches, and senior athletic administration, ensuring that the academic needs of student-athletes are prioritized while fostering a positive and supportive environment for athletics. He will work diligently to uphold NCAA regulations and advocate for policies that enhance the student experience both on and off the field.
Through his passion for education and athletics, Dr. Russell continues to inspire student-athletes at Livingstone College to excel in all facets of their lives.
