Dr. Diamond Mungroo serves as the Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine at Livingstone College, bringing a diverse background in high-performance athletics, clinical sports medicine, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Mungroo’s professional experience spans high-performance, pediatric, and outpatient settings. She has worked with EXOS, providing sports medicine and performance support to high-performance athletes, and with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sports Medicine, where she focused on the care and rehabilitation of pediatric and adolescent athletes. Her clinical background also includes positions with Benchmark, Elevate, and travel physical therapy, where she provided outpatient orthopedic and neurological care, including dry needling.

Her clinical expertise encompasses orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and post-surgical rehabilitation, allowing her to take a comprehensive approach to injury recovery, movement, performance, and long-term athlete health.

Dr. Mungroo holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC/LAT). She is licensed in athletic training in North Carolina and holds PT Compact privileges, with her physical therapy license originally issued in Georgia.

In addition to her role at Livingstone College, Dr. Mungroo is the owner of Dime’s Prime Sports Medicine, LLC, a mobile, cash-based sports medicine practice based in Atlanta, Georgia. The practice serves athletes from youth through active adulthood and is guided by the philosophy, “Rebuild Strong. Move Whole. Perform in Your Prime.”
