Marlon Henderson enters his third season as Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Livingstone College, continuing to build a program rooted in discipline, development, and competitive excellence.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Henderson is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, where he earned a degree in Science. During his time as a student-athlete, he served as captain of the men’s tennis team for four consecutive years, earning numerous accolades for his leadership and performance on the court.
Since joining the Blue Bear family, Coach Henderson has focused on cultivating a strong team culture and preparing student-athletes for success both on and off the court. His coaching philosophy emphasizes accountability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
