Shontae Hosch is in her fourth year as the Livingstone College Head Coach Cheerleading Squad. Before taking on the responsibility as head coach, she was the assistant cheerleading coach for two years.
She began coaching early on and has always had a strong sense for leadership. She encourages her cheerleaders to be active in the community and makes sure they participate in several community service initiatives throughout the year. Her goal is to help develop her squad mind, body, and spirit.
Coach Hosch is a native of Salisbury, NC and attended Salisbury High where she was the first sophomore to become an All American Cheerleader and then again as a senior. She then attended Livingstone College where she was captain of the cheerleading squad and gained All CIAA cheerleader as well.
Coach Hosch has two sons. Jaleel who attends Livingstone College and Shaqiri 10 - both of whom she is very proud of.
