The Blue Bears Outlasts Allen University in High-Scoring Thriller, 93–84

  • James Nipper led the charge with 21 points, attacking the rim and converting 8-of-9 free throws.
  • Omarion Bodrick dominated the paint, posting a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while adding two blocks.
  • Off the bench, Kenneth Tyree Jr. provided a spark with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting, and Erick Coffey chipped in 10 points and 3 steals.
  • Justin Baxter added 10 points, giving Livingstone four players in double figures.
Livingstone shot an impressive 72.7% from the free-throw line, converting 16 of 22 attempts. The Blue Bears also dominated the glass, grabbing 34 rebounds—including 13 on the offensive end—which led to key second-chance opportunities.

Allen University kept the game close behind Jordahn Johnson's 19 points and Jacquez Shuler's 12 rebounds, but Livingstone's defensive pressure forced 21 turnovers, turning them into points off turnovers that proved decisive.

The Blue Bears will be on the road this weekend as they head to Richmond, VA to take on Virgina Union at 2pm.
