Women’s Basketball Falls to Mount Olive, 66–56

Mount Olive, NC- The Lady Blue Bears dropped a hard-fought road contest to the University of Mount Olive, 66–56, in a game that featured seven lead changes and four ties. Livingstone dominated the glass with 48 rebounds, but Mount Olive's perimeter shooting and late-game execution proved decisive.

Livingstone Leaders

Jasiyah Crawford led all scorers with 18 points, hitting 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Breasia Coit posted a dominant double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Rachael Cherrington added 9 points off the bench, while Damaria Moree contributed 6 points and 7 rebounds.

Mount Olive Leaders

Savannah McAfee powered the Trojans with 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Kayla Jackson and Jada Priebe each scored 14 points, with Priebe adding 13 rebounds.
Jayla Hicks chipped in 11 points, and Jerin Truesdale finished with 10 points.

The Lady Blue Bears will aim to bounce back when they return to action on Tuesday, November 25, hosting Catawba College at New Trent Gym. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
