Livingstone Drops Hard-Fought Match to Virginia State
Bowie, MD- Livingstone College volleyball opened CIAA Round-Up 2 with a competitive battle against Virginia State but ultimately fell in four sets: 25–23, 18–25, 24–26, 22–25.
The Blue Bears came out strong, taking the first set 25–23 behind aggressive net play and solid defense. However, Virginia State responded with a 25–18 win in the second set, shifting momentum. The third and fourth sets were tightly contested, with Livingstone pushing VSU to the brink before falling 26–24 and 25–22.
