Livingstone Falls to Winston-Salem State in Straight Sets
Winston-Salem, NC. – Women's volleyball suffered a tough road loss to Winston-Salem State University, falling in three straight sets (25-8, 29-27, 25-19) inside Whitaker Gymnasium.
The Blue Bears struggled to find rhythm early, dropping the first set decisively as the Rams surged ahead with a dominant 9-1 run and closed the set on an 8-1 streak. Despite a stronger showing in the second set, where Livingstone tied the score at 16-16 and later at 26-26, Winston-Salem State edged out the win 29-27. In the third set, Livingstone mounted a late comeback with a 6-0 run, but the Rams held firm to seal the match 25-19.
