Charlotte, N.C.-The Lady Blue Bears extended their winning streak as they defeated Johnson C. Smith 69-56 in a commanding performance. The Lady Blue Bears showed resilience and strong team play, with several players contributing to the decisive victory.
Thalia Carter was the standout player of the game, finishing with a team-high 14 points. She shot 4-5 from the field and added 7 rebounds to her tally, providing critical support both offensively and defensively.
Bria Griffith contributed 10 points, including a key three-pointer, along with 4 rebounds. Jay'La Williams also had a solid outing, scoring 10 points on 2-3 shooting from beyond the arc, and hitting all four of her free throws. Nielle Reaves was efficient in her minutes, adding 11 points, including a perfect 2-2 from three-point range.
