Tennis Falls to Johnson C. Smith in the 2023 CIAA Championship Quarterfinals

ETTRICK, Virginia - The Livingstone College women's tennis team wrapped up their season at the 2023 CIAA Tennis Championship. The Blue Bears fell to Johnson C. Smith University Friday afternoon, 4-0. 

The Golden Bulls took the doubles point. The number two's Brenre Taylor and Azia Thomas dropped to Shay'Tonya Missick and Chengeto Moyana, 6-0. 

In singles play, Marissa Paul fell to Chengeto Moyana in the number three spot, 6-0, 6-0. Taylor Proffett-Broo defeated Azia Thomas in the number five spot 6-0,6-0.
