CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – The Livingstone College Softball team (6-19) dropped a doubleheader to Johnson C. Smith Saturday afternoon at Biddleville Park.

GAME ONE: 

The Blue Bears struggled to get something started on the offensive end. 

The defense had a tough time stopping the Golden Bulls from collecting runs. Cameran Jordan-Ruffin, J'Lynn Wilson, and Madalyn Payne had three put-outs each. 

Ashleigh Clark had two put-outs. 

Stephanie Barksdale picked up the loss, striking out three. Barksdale allowed nine 12 and 13 runs in 4.0 innings pitched.

Game Two:

The Blue Bears may not have collected any runs in game two, but their hitting was more active. 

Madalyn Payne went 2-for-3 from the plate. Stephanie Barksdale had two hits with two at-bats. 

Cameran Jordan-Ruffin went 1-for-3. Dajaneen Alejandro-Ortiz had one hit with two at-bats. 

Cameran Jordan-Ruffin picked up the loss for the Blue Bears. Jordan-Ruffin struck out two and allowed 15 hits and eight runs.
