Softball hits the Road to Raleigh For CIAA Play
SALISBURY – The Livingstone College softball team will begin the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division action this weekend when they travel to face Shaw University on Saturday, March 30, and Saint Augustine's University on Sunday, March 31, both in Raleigh, NC in a double header matchup.
Shaw plays their home games at Worthdale Park, while Saint Augustine's make their home at Lions Park. The doubleheaders are scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Saturday against Shaw and 12 p.m. for Sunday against Saint Aug's.
The Columbia Blue and Black squad (0-14, 0-6 CIAA) is still in search of its first win of the season.
The Lady Bears enter the weekend with a 1-7 overall record and 1-5 mark in league action.
The Lady Falcons (1-9 overall) begin CIAA Southern Division play this weekend against Johnson C. Smith University and Livingstone College in doubleheaders at Lions Park
