WBB Falls to West Virginia State 102-95

Institute, WV – The Livingstone College women's basketball team fell to West Virginia State 102-95, in the Wyndham Gardens Conference Challenge on a very late Saturday evening.

Livingstone's points leader with 23 points was from guard Darra Walker.  Daisa Harris also scored 20 points for the Lady Blue Bears and grabbing 11 rebounds. Taylor Perkins and Adel Allen both scored in double figures scoring 18 and 16 points respectively.  Kyala Searcy was the leader on the boards grabbing 13 rebounds.

Collectively, the Lady Blue Bears shot 37.0% (37 of 100) from the field while West Virginia shot 40.8% (31 of 76) on the evening.

The Lady Blue Bears will return to action tomorrow on the final day of the Wyndham Gardens Conference Challenge, to take on Glenville State in the first game of the classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
