Women’s Cross Country does well at the Cedric Walker HBCU Challenge

Cary, N.C. - The Livingstone College women's cross country team raced to a 13th place finish at the Cedric Walker HBCU Challenge at the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, North Carolina Saturday morning.
 
Livingstone finished with a total of 239 points.  Division I North Carolina A&T won the race with 57 points. 
 
Gabrielle Glasco led the Lady Blue Bears with a personal best time of 21:52 for the mostly flat 5,000-meter course, placing 32nd overall. 
 
Angel Ewell was seven tenths of a second behind Glasco finishing with a time of 21:52.9. MonaLisa Paulk overall time was 26:01.7 were season bests.
 
Rounding out the Lady Blue Bears top five were Khai Harris and Ciera Oliver-Ratcliff.  Harris finished overall with a time of 28:40.2, while Oliver-Ratcliff completed the course with a time of 28:58.9
 
The Lady Blue Bears return to action on Friday, October 12, 2018 as they host the Livingstone Cross Country Invitational.
