Lady Blue Bears back on the Road
SALISBURY – On the road again, the Lady Blue Bears of Livingstone College, takes on the Claflin University Lady Panthers on Monday, December 04, at Tullis Arena, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Tip-off for the non-conference contest is set for 5:30 p.m.
Livingstone, brings a win streak into the game at four, are 4-2 overall on the season. The Lady Panthers, who went 3-3 on their road swing, brings a 4-4 overall record and two-game win streak into Monday's matchup.
Livingstone defeated Claflin 80-61 earlier in the season.
Kyala Searcy and Lovette pulled in 20 points apiece in the win. Lovette recorded a double-double as she pulled in 11 rebounds for the Blue Bears.
Claflin was led by Dominique Williams with 20 points. Joy Okeke recorded a double-double, 19 points-10 rebounds in the loss.
Zena Lovette is averaging a double-double, 25 points-10.3 rebounds, to lead the Lady Blue Bears.
Claflin is averaging 55.8 points and 38.5 rebounds while Livingstone is averaging 69.2 points and 43.2 rebounds.
